This week's class & Feedback request

I am holding a class on Thursday of this week to make a double scrapbook layout featuring some great paper folding techniques. The class will be held at 7pm at my home in Newman Street Mortdale and will cost $25 which includes all tuition and materials.

Why not bring a few photos and we can add them to your page when the class is done!

After that class my Mother-in-law is visiting for 5 weeks from the UK and I am taking a short hiatus but will be spending that time designing some great new classes. This is where the Feedback request comes in. I would love to design classes that you want to attend - so if you have any favourites, or ideas, be they cardmaking, scrapbooking or off the pagedon't hesitate to let me know.

So INTO Scrapbooking right now.

I always have been and always will be passionate about craft - It's in my blood.

However I go through peaks and troughs - right now I am on a peak and enjoying the view. I went on an awesome "stamp camp" on the weekend, with a bunch of lovely ladies including some other Kaszazz consultants. It was so amazing to see the creativity they had in buckets. Then I have a Kaszazz training day this weekend, rather than put my scrapping stuff away - I have left it all on the dining room table.

Fine this means we cannot eat dinner together but every night I arrive home from work, choose a DVD from my husband's large collection and have just spend time creating and playing. I have done several pages for my 2009 album that I am really happy with and have completed the sample project for the Treasured Memories Cards - I love these stamps and the colours are great.

Petals of Love Stamps

So I have been having a play with the Petals of Love stamps that I was raving about before.

If you are one of my friends having a birthday in the next 2 weeks please don't look at the photos in this post... Just check your mail box!



The set contains 5 different petals and to create this card, just ink and stamp twice with contrasting ink on your chosen paper. Then cut out the petals - I find this is the most time consuming bit! To stick the petals on I normally glue or tape each petal to a piece of scrap paper and only mount the flower on the finished card/page once the whole thing is stuck together.

I have used one of the clear 6mm rhinestones for the centre of each flower but the larger rhinestones also look great.

This burgandy ink on pink cardstock looks great but if you stamp on black cardstock with white or baby blue/pink ink the effect is really striking! If anyone else has any projects that have created with these stamps (or any others) I would love to see them!

March New Product Release

The new product release for March has arrived. Kaszazz have put out a great mini release for all of you who cannot get enough.

My favourite has to be the flower petal stamps (or surf boards as most people call them).

How good would these stamps look either on coloured card stock arranged in a flower pattern, or as a border to your favourite image.

I love stamps that you can see multiple uses for and this one is going on my wish list.
